Mayor Charles Cephas is the founding pastor of the Greater Full Gospel Church Inc. in Hurlock, Maryland. His compassionate nature empowered him to form the group "Ministers for Citizens of Change" to help people inside and outside the congregation.
Active Public Servant
During his 20-year tenure as a town council member, Mayor Charles Cephas has helped address various community concerns. He also founded the locally acclaimed Black List Awards program.
His work under the Economic Development Committee sparked the interest of other institutions in the local business landscape. He even served on the Legislative Committee of the Maryland Municipal League.
